Overview:

WL431 is a three-terminal adjustable precision reference source. With two external resistors, the output voltage can be adjusted continuously from approximately 2.5V to 36V at Vref. The output impedance of this circuit is small (0.2Q). With good opening characteristics, it can replace Zener = pole well in many applications.
